just wondering what i'm doing wrong that is causing my sig pic not to show up,
whether it be a setting i have wrong in my profile or the pic is too large or what,
though i tried a smaller pic and it didn't work either. any suggestions?

when I type in this address which is what it shows me you are using for your image
http://my.execpc.com/F6/78/danperry/...artifact4e.jpg
i get a directory does not exist..is this the address you are trying to use?
*sigh* .. *nod* i didn't really look at the address the way i should have been. i think i know how to fix it now...
thanks.
Hmm.. That address works for me. [:P] I can see his sig on the directory.
But when I look at your link here I see you haveit as http://community.istaria.com/web before your address where your image is hosted. Try taking that part off maybe and only using the one Rilramar has there between the [img] tags?
I could be wrong.. I'm sleepy with a migraine. But I tried! Good luck!
uh... that's not in the .sig box in my profile...
made the change i thought would fix it though, and it didn't.. i'm still stumped
hrm somehow there is an open tag someplace it looks like.. when you right click > properties on the broken image it is adding the community.istaria yadda yadda ... when I view page source it is putting in a few attributes..but at least I do see your image when I input the address directly now
You have en error in your URL
This is the correct url http://my.execpc.com/~danperry/pics/hz/artifact4e.jpg
and in the img /img brackets:
a 5 second fix in your profile
that's _exactly_ the way i have it in there, guaran, as difficult as that may be to believe.
something else is wrong, evidently
[ img ]http://my.execpc.com/~danperry/pics/hz/artifact4e.jpg[ /img ]
without the spaces in the brackets should do it
well... it turns out the problem was not having it all on the same line. not an issue with normal html to my knowledge, but oh well, lesson learned.
