Is it just me or has the gatherer and miner class gotten easier in the new world or Istaria?

well with the addition of T5 resources, if u have got to lvl 100 in another craft you can just made yew/mithril etc stuff and get something like 30k exp per bagfull of raw resources, so yes, compared to b4 the big patch, gatherer/miner is much easier.

That's right. With tier 5 out there you don't have to be completely insane to take gatherer or miner to 100, just a bit demented.

Easy is a relative term. As you approach 100 that 30K exp reduces a bit. Down under 25K maybe. Other schools can take those resources you produced and get triple the exp making and deconstructing tools. I'm close to becoming a level 100 miner from making marble bricks. I'm using those bricks to level mason, scholar, and blacksmith to 100 at the same time. So, no, I wouldn't call it easy.
