Hi-Res map making ?

Seems as tho we lost the tazoon resources for making maps was wondering if anyone can post some pointers as to whereto start. For learning how to do high defination maps of the game from the world cache.

Last few days been flying in straight paths across the world from east to west and think i have at least the entire northern hemisphere covered 100%.
