rift map (obviously spoilers herein)

i realise this is a very very crude map... but it's something. i hope it serves. two versions, one with the plotted lines and one drawn over thicker.

green dot - port-in
red/orange dot - guardian of blood
blue dot - guardian of mind
pink dot - guardian of heart
light grey dot - guardian of bones
black dot - guardian of elial

dark grey area is where the watcher sleeps

oof... just noticed something that may not be clear. guardian of mind needs to be approached from the west. the mind arena is high above that N/S passage to the east

yeah.. i suspect that's the case for most. it was a project i started because ryver and holth both said they were trying to map it so i thought i'd give it a go, and had to finish through on it.

thanks guaran. it was 8:45 or so sunday morning when i finally finished that (had been up all night after finishing my ancient rite on blight), and i don't normally have the patience for finely positioning good labels at the best of times. i just wanted to get the map out there and get to bed.

Nice work Dorrin. I found your rift map to be very helpful and accurate.

thanks for the praise... the only things that are far less than accurate are the circles and ovals i added. many places where it isn't easy to tell where the paths run out from them based on how my map looks.

Is it me, or the coin drops took a huge drop since the last patch when fighting the guardians in the Rift?

I haven't noticed much of a change.. it seems that it's pretty random what the Guardians drop. I got, overall, about 500s from being on two groups in the past week.

I sure wonder how 'random' they are, considering I had 2 of them drop a lot less than ususal: one only dropped 10 silvers and the second... 300 coppers.

Dunno, like I said. I don't remember how much I got the day it was opened. :/

I remember... about 100s, 150s, nothing, and 6s for one of my two recent Guardian assistances. And Elial himself was about 200c. Though I was told at the time that that was normal, for Elial.

If i may add another helpful tip in navigating the rift is to go into your hz folder and change the region code for it. lets say from the pitch blackness the bright and sunny deafult.


Always make Back up copys when you change anything in the hz folder!
