Well you dont need to close it, just reply to it. It was hard to miss that message from GN as it was at the login page if I remember right. But its maybe best you open a complete new one to be sure...

I think it is cool that GN noticed the DB lag sooo fast and did something about it. Impressing. But EA should try another DB sofware really and runors claimed a long ago that they tried other DB...
