    Default Teching items. Please explain.

I'm a little confused as to what level technique you can put on what tier item and how many techniques you can use? Can someone explain this per tier or however it works?
Is it different for spells verse armor?
Tier 1 item can use how many level 1 techs?
Tier 2 item can use how many level 2 techs?
    And so on...

    Thanks. [^o)]

Tier I and II item/spells allowone technique to be applied fromthe item's tier or below.

Tiers III and IV item/spells allow two techniques to be applied from the item's tier and below.

Tier V and VI item/spells allow three techniques to be applied from the item's tier and below.

    Examples:
Atier II item could contain a tier II tech or a tier I tech.
A tier III item could contain a tier II tech and a tier III tech, or two tier III techs etc.
A tier V item could contain three tier V techs.

Techs on spells increase the skill required to use the spell by tier*10

f.e. Revitalize III teched with Potency III and Heal Recycle III needs 460 life skill to be scribed and used. The unteched Revitalize III only requires 400 life skill.

On armor/weapons/jewelry/tool techs dont add to the required skill anymore.
