im new to horizons havent got around to posting though. im level 20 shaman now. wondering where to level if ya got any suggestions. charecter name is jaggy

Welcome, jaggy.

A good thing to do is go speak with the Trophy Hunters,
and get kill tasks from them. Not only will you get XP
from the kills, but you get a very nice experience reward
for turning in the Trophies, along with a nice cash reward.

For your level, you will want to seek out the Trophy Hunter
in either Dalimond or Chiconis.

ok. i think i did that but they sent me to stuff that was like level 25 or so but im only level 20 tho my rating is 24. and how long are servers down for usually?

on normal Maintenance days, servers are usually up by
around 11:30 am Central Time... But today is a Patch Day,
so it takes several hours longer...

Speaking with the Trophy Hunters will still give you a fair
idea of what creaturs you should be hunting, and where
they can be found...

ok. i am still learning many aspects of the game IE: crafting is giving me some difficulties. and having to switch bars cause i have so many spells lol. wish i could make more than 1 bar appear on my screen :| would make it so much easier.

Right-click on your existing Hotkey Bar, and select
"New Hotkey Bar." You can have up to 10 at once.

And as far as the Trohpy Hunter quests... they will send you
to kill creatures in a 5-level range... so for your level, you will
be sent to kill Level 20-24 monsters. Just look for the lower
level ones to kill, until you become stronger/more confident.

ok. ill try that. and whats a good way to level up scholar fast so i can make better spells?

Until the proposed craft changes are put in-game,
the best way to level Scholar is probably making
and deconstructing stone tools. Also, do some
craft trainer tasks to gain XP and get lore tokens
which you can use to buy Beginner formulae.

i can make tools as a scholar? ...i been buyin them the whole time

yep... check your craft skills in the Character window.
Stoneworking is one of them.
