There's been lots of questions as to why we plan to rollback Blight this Friday to a previous version from August 21, 2007 morning. The new client deals with terrain in a significantly different manner than previous clients. While everyone is play testing on Blight, we're going to be doing terrain development testing in some parts of the world (test areas). We're hoping that nothing goes wrong, but with this sort of work it is possible that something could go wrong - like turning Tazoon into a mountainous region. We would rather have everyone prepared for a possible roll back and then make the decision not to rollback, than to say surprise at some point during the week. Blight is our testing shard and we're doing our best to make sure that players are aware of possible problems that could come up during testing. We really appreciate everyone's help and feedback with the new Blight client and hope you find the bumps worth the update.
