Sigs and Character pics

I have seen some really cool sigs on this forum, and I want to make one too.
the problem is, I dont even know where to find the screenshots from the game, could somebody help me with this?

I have made my sig, butI cannot paste it onto the place on the forum site, what do I do to put the pic in my sig?

This forum uses BBCode for those various fancy operations. You apply something like following to your signature box in your control panel, but replace all parentheses ( and ) with brackets [ and ].

(img)http://yourserver.com/path/image.jpg(/img)

And you are set to go.

Your personal computer is not a server and thus cannot be used to host stuff that other people can access via the 'net. (Well, techinaclly speaking, your computer has the readiness to work as a server, but this is a very advanced subject, and you really, really don't want to give strangers access to the innards of your system unless you know precisely what you are doing. And even then, your computer would be serving content only when it was turned on and connected.)

What you need to do is to upload the picture to a proper server, for example the webspace your internet provider has allocated for your use, or to some free image hoster. For the former you need FTP software, but everything will be under your control. For the latter, use places like http://uploadyourimages.com - but the downside is always their inherent unreliability, possibly problematic access speed and maybe very restrictive monthy transfer limits.
