Arbotus give out squirrels I think, they are just very very VERY rare, I understand. I also thought ells are rare. But a Dev would have to state for sure.

Its not a bug, its an unfortunate side-effect of the way the system is setup. Since one tool that gathers fish gets a bonus resource, another tool gathering that same fish can't get the same bonus.

I understand, so you also cant program that when you get fish with dragon Ingenuity that you also get the bonus ress, because getting fishes and bonus ress is also assosiated with the fishing pole.

hmm sounds a little odd, don`t suppose its possible/practice to implement "duplicates" of the bonuses for dragon Ingenuity

As said else where such changes require programing time. When and if that time can be made available is anyones guess.

Good to know. Not losing sleep over bonus resources. My excuse will be: "Dragons are smart enough to actually catch what they are trying to gather."
