Dragon Quests Guide?

I logged in for the first time in awhile today, and was thinking about getting started on leveling my dragon again (with a little help from a friend I know outside the game), but... I am looking at these quests, and I have *no* idea where the heck any of these mobs are. My dragon is 55 Adv. and the last thing I had done, was my GF and I got RoP done, and then we took a break on Istaria for awhile, while she had RL problems and I had other things going on my end as well.

I am not familiar with any of these mobs these quests are asking for, and I recalled some guide here in the forums, but I can't seem to find it anymore. Gamersinfo.net has absolutely no information whatsoever at all, as to WHERE these mobs can be found, so I'm at a total loss. I hate bugging people constantly in the chat channels, I would much rather like to look the info up instead of having to ask so many questions.

Is there a guide, or resource, or *something* that gives you a clue as to where these mobs can be found? Surely there's got to be Some way of finding out where all of this stuff is...

Thanks for posting that, but eh...

It only tells you where the mobs are for the first 2-3 tiers...

For example, Drain Strike V says "Kill 50 Jasper or Aquamarine Golems" and I was in-game looking at this, thinking to myself, "Where the heck are Jasper or Aquamarine Golems?"

And to be honest, I don't feel like spending 10+ hours flying all over the place, hoping I'll luckily stumble across them... I wish we had some sort of... mob guide or something... at least for mobs required by quests... that gives us an Idea of where to find things. I'm not asking for exact Coords, but jeez... some idea of where to go would be nice.

Oh, gah, I forgot about that. I used to have that installed, and it lagged my comp badly every time I tried to open the map, but I suppose I could turn all the extras off so I can actually open the map, unless I go searching for a mob.

I realize that you have looked at gamersinfo, and that Vlisson linked you to a page there, but this page does list locations for the mobs required for particular quests. Additionally, I am told that the player mod "Map pack" has mobs and resources marked. I have not yet installed it, but I am told that it is quite good. The link to the mod is in this thread:

Further...do feel free to ask in chat. We all have to do that at times. I believe we play the same server, Dhalin, so if I am on please ask me. yes the dragon board is little confusing and you need a real detective work to find your infos ^^ (btw why 9 sticky posts there *eg*)

It's a text file, made of names + coords.

All you need to do is to download it, expand somewhere not in the game, open it in notepad and press F3 to search for the stuff.

As Takora said, Scorpion Island works. I always had a terrible time there as a hatchling (was waiting till 50 to ascend with two of my dragons) so as an alternative there is the top of Abandoned Island. I really enjoyed hunting there for them more, but that is only personal preference. Good hunting.
