Hello folks, I've been playing trial after trial, as the last tiem I played this game was march of 2009. I did have a level 14 dragon but for some reason it doesn't let me play him.

I do play Everquest 2, so i am not new to MMOs, but the two games are very different, yet still fun.

So I'm just saying hello folks, and I am new to the game. I hope to have fun.

If you're on a trial, you won't be able to play a character from months ago. I think the current trial period for non-human characters is two weeks? You can file a ticket if you have a paid account now and want to play that hatchling on it, though. I don't know what the details for that process are.
