A touch of ginger

I was preparing for the new years party TW is hosting on blight, decided to make some pumpkin pies, and saw that I needed sliced ginger, now I know the form is a quest item (and it propably needs you have ginger in your inventory), so I checked the confectioner help site thingy, said it spawned a little west of sslanis, but so far I have found nothing, could someone please confirm that these are still ingame (or not)?

Oh they are in the Sslanis jungle, but they are few and hard to find there.
I've found them a little bit off the road just south and across the road from the smelter, on the hillside around the bend just north of the smelter, and on the hillside up the hill toward the giant chickens.
At least if you find one, they yield a lot of uses.
