Yes, the spawn regions on Peak of Storms were fixed with one of these last few patches. I forget which, and obviously I forgot to update in the patch notes. There should have been a line in one of them somewhere that said "Peak of Storms is now correctly haunted again." (or some such note.)

Is it normal to see Elial at the Peak, like Nah'kuk ogres in the Rift?

Yes, but only if someone stays up there for a long time. It takes someone actually hunting on the PoS for that region to become active.

Awesome, a restoration of the lore - since Elial is mentioned as "being on the peak" in the AROP, it's nice to see his pale shadow has been put back into its place.

PoS just isn`t the same without the added ghostly effect and Eliel make`s it that much more exciting! what`s better then scaring the tail off of some unsuspecting hatchling then a giant evil naka standing in ur path?

Don't be too exited.... Elial in his physical form is far stronger than rift form. He deals a ridiculous amount of damage in one hit: around 6k.
Might even be stronger than the queen considering you can actually get health up enough to live through her most viscous attack.

It's just something fun. Peds can try hunting him now. More people may go along to PoS to help the hatchie make it. And according to the lore, while doing rop, he is supposed to haunt the Peak.

4 ancients , an uber and a strong healer was enough to bring him down.

i have always thought that such an awesome accomplishment as ascension required a bit of effort to get thru......
i have many fond memories of being both the savior and the savee of the journey to the peak of storms.....
