Cannot Delete Character

I have been trying to Delete a toon for the last couple of days. I keep getting a error message that tells me only that "an error has occured". Not sure what else to do, I have cleared the Cache and even gone so far as to do a factory reset. Any Idea's?

I hear that if the toon is in a guild it cannot be deleted until toon resigns from guild or is removed from guild by the guildmaster or by a guild officer having that authority.

[Delite]

Go to the character management page from the website. Log in to manage your account, then:

1) on the left side, select "my characters"

2) on right side, select "delete character"

3) on the next screen, select the character you want to delete from the drop down list.

4) Enter your username and password. Click submit.

Done!
