cast bar lost

long story short the cast timer bar is lost on my screen. I play in windows mode my game window was made realy small when i maxed it out again every thing was all jumbled now i can find the bar any ideas with out wiping my preffs?

close the knowledge book if you have it open, find the key that switches your UI (so there are no windows on your in-game screen) then open your knowledge book and cast a spell, the cast bar should appear somewhere so you can click and drag it to somewhere you can find it again

The chat command /loadui may help. Alternatively, try moving things around to try to find it while casting buffs on yourself or attacks on cows at New Trismus.
