Blight Patch killed my istaria.exe

Tried patching to blight via advice from a dev, I got a nastey error, and now I can`t even get it to patch/launch on live!! D:

Here`s what the error reads

Cannot run program "istarie-int.exe" (from directory "C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\istaria"):CreateProcess Error=14001, the application has failed to start because it`s side by side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail

I`m guessing there`s a launcher file or something that blight patch downloaded that`s interferring with the game`s launcher, but I`m at a loss. I`m pretty dumb with computer files and programs D:

In the mean time I sent a ticket with error window attached, but I won`t be able to guild hunt or duel log till my desktop can play Istaria again
I can still play on my laptop but I`m in NO WAY patching to blight. >.>

Personally I would try downloading and installing the patcher files located here: http://community.istaria.com/pg.php/download to see if they would fix the problem, letting them overwrite the current files.

I'm not an expert when it comes to computer files and programs either, so I can't promise it's going to help.

Oddly enough I tried something. I deleted that istaria-int.exe file, and now the game`s running fine.
I`m not sure if that was a corrupted file, or just copied itself to interfere with my original istaria.exe or what, but after deleting it, I was able to get back into game. O.o

This error is caused by a problem with the Visual C++ libraries on your computer and may be related to an install of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005.

Please download this fix from Microsoft which will update your Visual C++ libraries.
