Hello everyone. I had recorded all the footage for and the voiceover for a small clip called Hallow's Eve for Istaria. Unfortunately, Sony Vegas 11 decided to die and never start up again in its life and upon reinstall, I cannot manage to get my key. Ever. -_-
So, I thought I'd share the poem with you for now while I fix this. Enjoy.
'Twas Hallow's Eve
And dark was the night.
Too little was the light,
To reveal the fight!
Oh what fight, do I say?
I shall tell thou
And thou shalt know by day!
It all began with one dragon,
Ancient and strong.
Larger than the largest wagon,
and twice as long!
Gold was his scales,
And blue was his eye
Swirls the color of bales
And a chest of cherry dye
The Aegis roamed late that night.
Just as every other time.
But they had a special... 'delight'
That is certainly a crime!
With ballistas armed and the moon high,
They gave out a mighty battle cry.
For they know that they shalt
Gain a new member to their cult.
Our golden friend is in the sky,
Unbeknownst that his end is nigh.
Flittering, flapping, and soaring in the dark,
He shalt make his lasting mark.
In the shadow, lie the Aegis;
Oh, they know they shalt be prestegious.
For they hath a weapon, a spell!
That will fire at the toll of the bell.
At the toll of the bell!
Caught in the corner of his sapphire gaze,
Lay the undead with eyes ablaze.
Roaring in fury and in might,
The dragon dives to set them alight!
The moon ticks up, and the time grows short
As the dragon nears the Aegis fort.
Unbeknownst, he was running out of time
And that his fire will stop at the chime.
Eyes open and mouth wide,
He plunges into the tide!
Soldier upon soldier fall low,
And arrows fly from the bow.
These small troubles were nothing to him!
Unlike the undead losing their phantom limb!
Tail striking and claws splayed,
Our hero is being delayed.
One more time, he opens his jaws
And one more time, he spreads his claws.
Then there was the lone chime,
Of the distant Dalimond bell.
Of the distant Dalimond bell.
The Aegis roamed late that night,
Just as every other time.
But they had a special 'delight'...
And it sure was a crime.
