Anyone know how to do this properly?

Nevermind, I seem to have solved the issue. I was using Solitaire's mod files as a basis and the .tga provided appears to be double the size that it needs to be.
Which brings up another question... did they change our texture resolution since that mod was created? Now I'm paranoid that my dragon looks blurrier than it used to a few years ago...
Depending on what level you set your texture and graphics detail to, will likely determine how it looks. It certainly shouldn't looker blurrier, though. I've recently turned my texture detail up to max and boy do the dragons look slick! I don't like to throw it out there too often, but a 'clear world cache and full scan' might be in order.
