Your links are a bit strange, they're not working.

Copying link location gives me "http://a href=http://istariareference.com/istaria/mappack.asp#download"

Thanks Cegaiel! The new files work as expected.

Pharaxes, the links didn't work for me, either, but if you just go straight to http://istariareference.com/mappack.asp you can download the new map pack. (v15.03.09)

    Straight to download
    http://istariareference.com/mappack/...e_15.03.09.exe

or to the Map pack download section.
    http://istariareference.com/mappack.asp#download

Cegaiel just added "/istaria/" to the URL, which broke the link.

I've noticed the Fiery Rift map is broken. I've re-uploaded the .exe and .zip files with the fix. They still have the same version numbers. So can re-download to fix or edit /resources_override/resources/interface/maps/fieryrift/map.def (change float MetersToPixels = 1.5 to 2.0)

A small correction. There is a cedar symbol at 275/254. I believe there are nothing but Yew trees there. Please look at this and maybe change. Thanks. Slimey on Order

I'm fairly sure it works like this.

The very first time you install map pack, it looks in the registry (Start, Run, Regedit) for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Virtrium\Istaria\ for the (Default) key where Istaria was installed to (with the Istaria game's installer). If it finds this key, then map pack would prefill in this location (but you can still change it during install with Browse button). If it doesn't find the key (ie you have new copy of windows and restored a backup and didn't use Virtrium's installer) then it prefills the default of C:\Program Files (x86)\Istaria.

Once map pack is installed, the first time, it then creates HKEY_CURRENT_USER\IstariaReference\Mappack\Install Dir with the location you chose to install it in. As you see here, I have multiple copies of the game and mine is different than above screenshot, but this is where I want map pack updated.

All future patches will now use this InstallDir

    ----
You have two choices to choose another location and have it remember your new location for future (when applying updates/patches - This doesn't give a choice of where to apply it, it will always automatically install to the location where it was originally installed - InstallDIR).

    1) Run Regedit and manually change that path/location for InstallDir key.
    2) Goto Control Panel, Programs, Uninstall. Highlight Map Pack 3.7 and choose Uninstall. It will also remove all the keys in registry. Now run the Map Pack .exe installer again. Now you have the opportunity to choose the game folder you want it to install to now and in future. It will add the keys again with the new InstallDir.

    ----
Glad you got it figured out. I was scratching my head about the Lone wolf

Ah, that location is by the marker for Daknor in the swamp. That isn't his spawn point, its just to mark a path he can possibly walk when he spawns at 285/231. Neither actually spawn in the swamp.

For him to have walked over to the swamp, he had to have spawned at the 285/231 marker and walked. He would have eventually walked back to 285/231. Thanks, I'll add a marker near Daknor in the swamp to mark his possible wandering path.

OK, hope no one has turned this one in. At 217/230. map shows a T5 loom/distaff. There is only open space there now. There is one now by essence chamber north of there. Thanks. Slimey
