There are still some techs that require a Veteran Tarantula 'x' for the components. Those mobs have since been renamed to Purple Tarantula etc. This may be confusing for other players looking for them.

This is not a bug, but by design as there are two types of tarantula in Tier5 now - Aranaea and Purple.
