10th anniversary Thank You-Thread

Unbelievable-
10 years Horizons/Istaria-
but we can witness- we are still here.

So there are innumerable reasons to say "Thank you" to innumerable people.

I shall leave the big speeches to the native speakers.
I just want to say THANK YOU with all my heart to the beautiful people,
I had the priviledge to meet ingame in this last decade:
To my fellow players who came and left again,
to those who became close friends ingame
and those who even became trusted and beloved friends in rl.

Thank You to all the developers of this game.
Thank you to the people of Virtrium who saved our virtual life
and who still are aware of their social responsibility-in saving the game from unhealthy influences
without allowing it to be antiquated.
So its still possible that very young and very old people can play together, group and have fun without any frontiers.

And in the first place: The spirit of Istaria (or x-factor like Velveeta once called it):
It is still there- after all those years.
Sometimes more -sometimes less
Its our turn to keep it alife for the next 10 years.

Dear Istarians- I would appreciate it very much if you would add your thoughts about our anniversary here.

I feel like all of you deserve a wonderful gift- but thats not possible- so I (or Flameus) shall post some very special
screen-shots here in the next days. All dedicated to VI and the community.
Feel free to add your gifts too, e.g. Poems, songs, paintings aso.

I'm proud being part of a wonderful community, working together across continents, having fun, joy and sometimes even sharing tears.

I love the details on that tower, playing now since 9 years and never had a close look at it, as old Istaria is, there are still things to surprise.

The towers at the outposts have the same graphics and I wonder if they show Ssliks.

My thanks as well to the devs for keeping such a great game alive. I know you don't have as many subscribers as other big games and yet Istaria is where I stay.

Thanks to all the wonderful players whome I`ve had the opportunity to make great life long friends not only in game, but in real life! this game brought me many joys, and I look forward to the next 10 years being just as wonderful as the 4 that i`ve played.

On a side note I had my memory shock moment recently when I played the game with the music enabled (I very rarely have game music on in any game these days)
There is some truly awesome music in this game I had forgotten about.

i still think Istaria is still the best game for a great experience, the community here is second to none.

Istaria is home to us vets... we might go on holiday to other games... and we might have good or bad experiences whilst on holiday.. but we are always glad to come home.

And after ten years atleast for me this is STILL true.

Yes, actually. Though it was a kind of iconic part of that area I got the fun of destroying that hole and putting the mine in it's place. First time I really got to use the world building tools in a live area.
