Draca I have a hard time beleiveing you made it to 30 in beta, alot of stuff you are misinformed onn, and sounds like you based your experince from the first 10 lvls.
EQ2 has way more content than HZ I don't see how you could even agrue that point, andall you say in no and bring no info.

Hmm. Eq2: "Kill 10 orcs and return to me." Hz: "Kill 10 ogre and return to me."
"No difference. Just that in horizons you level faster. Please don't tell me that you really believe that there is any game in the world with more grind than eq2."
There are way more quests than kill tasks, once again shows you really didn't get far in EQ2.

"No difference. Just that in horizons you level faster. Please don't tell me that you really believe that there is any game in the world with more grind than eq2."
EQ1 and Lineage 2 have way more grind, I also feel in my opinion that HZ crafting is more of a grind, I mean come on make 30 hammers at a time deconstruct go again, and since the changes of moving the machines it's even worse.

"Let's see the numbers of eq2... - aaah, SOE hides them - guess why?As I told above there are many many people leaving eq2 right now - I've never ever seen leaving so many people so fast - not even in horizons (and horizons released a unfinished product)."
All mmorgs hide there numbers now execpt ac2, evenUO doesn't show pop numbers, HZ doesn't show pop numbers, so what's your point?
A few might be leaving, going back to there old games or WoW but that haapens with every newly released mmorg, folks try it out, some like it , others don't, heck when DAOC hit the shelves eq1 numbers went down for a couple weeks, but most the eqers I knew ( and I knew alot as my whole guild tried out daoc but very few stayed, most went back to eq) went back, but still daoc has about 250k so they kept a few and got some new blood. But hey let's not forget, over 80k people have quit HZ and the new blood is not coming in like it should.
Meanwhile EQ2 is getting new folks everyday ( 5 instances of the starter tutorial ilse on my server lastnight, that's only 2 less than how many there were during the first week. I have 72 people in my guild, no one has left the game or thought it sucked, I haven't seen one person in ooc say this game blows or I quit or any of that crap, so what you heard was a rumor, nothing more.

"And I don't doubt that hz will still be around next year - I doubt eq2 will be the big game next yearits name let me expect. I still play eq1 and it's a shame that eq2 throws the good name into the dirt."
"I still wait forsome arguements, Thunndar. Comparing the numbers isn't really fair as long as SOE does not provide numbers. Btw didn't you play the game you now try to make so bad for over a year and get multiple 100 levels? Hu? Something's wrong there..."
Ok lets not talk numbers, lets talk money.
Fact .
Every month HZ is losing money, go look at the records on file, it's there in black and white, AE is losing money hand over fist, they have virtually no advertising ( becuase they didn't pay alot of the advertisers and filed chapt 11 on them, therefore burning bridges ) they have almost zero copies on the shelves, word of mouth on it is bad, so new blood isn't coming, at least not fast enough to save the game. Hell name 1 mmorg that has has the spawn issues that HZ has, not to mention the other problems, there hardware can't take what they want it to do, how is that going to change? if Tulga gets HZ ( which btw check the mainpage, HZ is no longer listed ) it's not going to help much, and the judge may not approve the sale as HZ can't get out of debt at this point.
EQ2 is getting ready to put out a couple more servers ( which also shows they are gaining customers faster than they are losing them ), how about HZ? Oh yeah they are getting ready to consolidate the EU's over the the last 2 HZ shards left.
People tend to forget EQ1 has about 7 expansions under it's belt, the core of EQ1 as in when it released had about the same amount of zones and such as EQ2, it took a couple of expansions to really fill out the game that is now EQ, I expect the same from EQ2, and as fast as they are adding things, fixing things etc etc I am sure that it willbe.
Hey let's also add that EQ2 actually has csr agents and ingame GM's, tickets get responded to in hours, not weeks like HZ. The Devs actually fully talk to there customers, they aren't so scared that they can only be found on a heavily moderated irc channel. And they actually make good on there promises on upcoming additions and tweaks to the game, once again unlike HZ. Sony never did the bald face lies that AE has done, and from reading the state of the game and the please come back and try HZ email garbage they continue to do so.
As far as instancing goes I love it, it keeps popular area's from over crowding, I don't mind zoning for 30 secs if it saves me from that headache ( unrest in the early days of eq1 comes to mind, as does trying to gather resources when HZ first came out.) The only mmorg that has gotten nonzones right is WoW, and alot of that is due to the low graphics of the game. otherwise most non zoning mmorg's have serious lag issues, HZ and SWG comes to mind.
Are there some things about EQ2 that I don't like? Hell yeah, but I have yet to come across a mmorg that didn't have a thing or 2 about it that I wasn't wild about.
And if you think HZ will be here this time next year after looking at the $ numbers well, you need to take a course in basic ecomonics.
Lets also add in EQ2 doesn't have the billing issues, I have yet to hear of anyone getting multibilled, where it's rampant here, and it's to the point that some banks and cc companies are looking into it as fruad ( Wells Fargo is very leery of AE and Ipay atm and are looking into many issues of billing fraudI can tell you for a fact as I work for them)
