Gifts bugged?

Hi!

I just noticed that there's something weird with the gifts. I remember the gifts used to give a higher ammount of stats then Enhances & Raises but it gives the following instead:


Armor 41 136 102

Dexterity 80 109 70

Focus 80 109 70

Power 80 109 70

Speed 10 Swift feet: 14

I'm pretty sure armor gift is bugged as you can see, not so sure about the others but I remember the gift was higher then enhances & raises
Note: those are the spells at T5. As for the order they're in: <Gift name> <Gift ammount> <Enhance ammount> <Raise ammount>

I think you may simply be mistaken, as these numbers haven't changed in a very long time (if ever at all).

But you do raise a good point about the Gift of Armor line. It is woefully inadequate, especially when compared to Gift of Health.

Gift of armour has been bugged for as long as i can remember.
There's a reason nobody on epic hunts ever uses gift of armour, and that's because other buffs are better.

And no. The gifts are not meant to be higher than enhances.
You may note - the longer the duration of the buff, the smaller it is. The opposite holds true in that the short duration ones have a large buff.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's bugged but the amount of armour given by Gift of Armour V is very low compared to the buffs provided by other tier V gifts. If you compare the differences between gifts, surges, enhances and raises Gift of Armour V stands out for not following the pattern set by the others, but it does adhere to similar sized increments for the surge, enhance and raise.

I'm not sure if that helps clarify it but maybe someone else here can do a better job of explaining it!

gift of amrour V gives such a low buff it isn't even worth it, and, with that gaping difference between stats...

"Dexterity 80 109 70"

compared to the other patterns, it is incredibly outstanding.

differnce of 29 points between other gifts/enhances, differnce of almost 100 with armour. with such a huge difference, if it's not bugged then raise it.


edit:
so i looked at health too

gift raises by 212, enhance by 260.

now around half of that is ideal for armour (assumptions from crystals), so half of 260 is 130, oh look, enhance armour raises by 136. pretty close...
half of 212 is 106, gift of amrour actual stat is...41.

Place a 0 behind that 41, no more complaints about Gift of Armor being low. ;p
But yeah, it's really really low compared to other gifts.

Ak, ok, that's not bugged. That's just that you feel the values are too low.

Bugged would be "it doesn't work" or "it is supposed to stack with a tech and doesn't", something like that.

I see though a pretty low value could also be counted as bugged. Let's say a weapon that's supposed to give +30 of this stat but only gives +5 , that would be bugged also no?

Even Gift of Toughness V is 31 Armor AND 106 health. beats gift of armor any time

I would also like to see Gift of Armor stats raised. It's just one of those things I would never waste a Gift slot for.
