Default XP Cap bugged, or changed?

Last night on Order, I noticed that my character was getting much more xp for killing a single monster than the table at istariareference shows. According to that table, xp per single monster is capped by the character's adventure rating; mine was 37, and was killing level 31-34 iron golems. The actual character adventure school level was 24. The chart shows a cap of 1,690 xp for a rating 37 character, but I was getting up to 2060 xp.

I asked in chat, and the other players were surprised, too. Did you quietly give us a nice gift, or is this a bug?

I'll have to revisit that chart and experiment with more than one class. The chart should be valid if you have only one school (where your rating and adventurer level is always equal). There might be different formulas used once you start getting into multi-classing that I didn't think about at the time it was created. As far as I know, any experience changes hasn't been done in ages.
