Thread: Blighted Ironsilk?

  1. #1

    Question Blighted Ironsilk?

I've been looking around for this - there isn't any on the community map pack. Is blighted ironsilk still in the game? I can find all of the other T5 blighted materials.

    Thank you!

I don't think there is. Is there anything that blighted ironsilk would be useful for? I'm drawing a blank.

Devs have been trying to add most of the missing T1-T4 blighted resources to be available for the Transmutation formulas. Blighted cedar is on for the next delta. I can't think offhand of any use for T5 blighted resources.

Besides Cedar and Ironsilk, are there any other missing blighted resources anyone can think of?

Seems there was blighted ironsilk in 2004, but not today. I can't think of anything that would warrant adding it back to game either, thats what I was asking, any formulas, etc that can use it today, that's where I'm drawing a blank.

Blighted Unspun Ironsilk is needed to make Blighted Ironsilk Spools. The Blighted Fabric spool Formula was/is in game (I have it scribed). However, I have no evidence that there is or was in game any formulas requiring Blighted Ironsilk Spools, except for Blighted Fabric Spool Cleansing and Blighted Fabric Spool Enchanting. Thus if there were any blighted Ironsilk nodes in game some players could process same to make regular Ironsilk armor. It is far less trouble to simply harvest regular unspun ironsilk for such purpose.

Cleansing was what I had in mind - the cleansing process can be very helpful XP-wise when you are in the top parts of levels, or for schools that can only process the resources.

Also for completeness. As far as I can tell, every other T5 resource has a blighted variant, and with the number of T5 blighted areas I thought it might be easy to find a home for it.

Could also be for the T5 Transmutation forms (as you said for T1-T4).

Also could be used for Enchanting as Knossos said.

    Already added for Delta 279.
