Ok i got the quest Vandus Confederation: Traitor in the Midst II

spoken to three gaurds on the way down south.

killed Gregory and some henchman and now I have lost the quest. really lost it. not deleted. it just not there any more in the quest log.
council man Micklin Vandus is not giving me the quest.

does any one know if this a bug, suposed to happen and what can be done about it?
