With a recent patch, it looked like they altered a part of the RoP quest to where you had to make something yourself, rather than acquire it. I believe it was something involving obsidian, but that sounds scary, as it would then require a minimum of 600 stoneworking to finish RoP.

Does anyone have the latest 'finishing' requirements for Lunus RoP?

Ahh, so the fix was really just a semantics change, and not a technical/requirement change, sounds like. Okay, thanks, Kumu, for looking into it. =)

Some things I noticed:

Subquest - Defeat the Entombed Soul's Will.

1. Speak to the Entombed Soul.
2. Speak to him again when you are ready to do battle.
3. Defeat the Entombed Will. (Lvl 60 Dragon, 51246 Hp.)
<<<< Again speek to the Entombed will
4. Return to Valkoth.
5. Speak to Lantenal the Hermit.
6. Plunge the claw into the hermit's lava pool. (Sit in the pool for a little bit)

I forgot to speak to him again.

Also, you can get the kill ghostly dragon and the entombed will quests at the same time. Thus saving yourself a trip.

For the sit at a place parts of this, jumping into the lava (chiconis, lake) it worked too without sitting. (Bad lag and I ended up in a few of the places!)

Few notes:

1. Travel to Summoners Tower and speak to Kaa the Peaceful. (/PrintPos 29943/27875)
2. Travel to Dryart and speak to Lem the Idealist. (/PrintPos 21342/25218)

are reversed, it's Kaa the Idealist and Lem the Peaceful

Also, you cannot get Acquire an Orb of Pure Crystal.


until after you speak to Valkoth. It is one of his quests that triggers the need for the orb, which you can then the quest by speaking to Lantenal the Hermit.
