Are other people getting this on around 75% of the attempts to log in or is it just me?

i have not seen this one yet. my installation is pretty stable, though, even with my ATi card, so maybe i'm not a good example.
What is Error 88 anyway, and for that fact is there a list of all the different error codes and what they mean? (Besides what you see in the dialog boxes when it happens) [;)]
Rogan, apparently you and I are having the same problems. I submitted in a ticket and Amon replied back with the following answer. I myself havent had time to check it out, but hopefully it'll help you out.

####, Thanks for letting us know about this. The error you are getting is #88 which is "Link Death" and is often caused when the ports the game needs to play are blocked. Do you have a router or firewall on your internet connection? If so, do you have the game ports opened? 47701-47704, 47101-47110 for inbound TCP/UDP.
