I don't understand this. If itis not intended to double or triple techa spell with Cleanse then why not strip the spells? Player should have seen the inconsistency and submitted support tickets andapplied techniques to spells as they are normally done.

Is it an exploit to cast a spell that has 2x or 3x the chance to remove an ill effect or not?

Are you rewarding the players that did (and will before Tuesday) craft such spells?

This really is not something to "grandfather" in as players should have seen the inconsistencies and respected the game and this flaw in game mechanics.

I agree with Jaraiden. If it was something minor I could see it as not being a problem, but just about everybody, who is able, has a multiple cleanse teched spell. And there will be people muleing huge quantities of multi cleanse teched spells before the change goes live.

On other matters, nice to see timer on Wrack going down, although I'd have preferred it morphing into something which deserved the timer.

And the technique changes regarding manes is nice, but it'd have been nice to get them all, or at least some of the ones needing myloc brains also.

Nice monk fixes for flame and iced as well as iron body. I have my reservations about the spirit form change it is indeed inline with the description but i doubt it will be as...good of an "oh crap" button now. And spirit punch timer no longer linked to smash.

Also glad to see the introduction of rare and ultra rare loot as well as the removal of dependancy on a tech comp that can't be looted (one of them at least)

Change to wrack is well overdue 5mins is much more reasonable than 15.

In general it looks good can't wait to see it tested and on live

Perhaps the fix that stops multiple applications of cleanse could be put live right away? I see no problem with people havingcreated a spell before reading this, but as you say, we will now see players with 9999 of this spell in a silo (if they can manage to get the resources;)) and that is not right:(

Yup; Very nice cleaning up of a lot of loose ends.

I'll email the patch notes to my old hunting companion who left the game at ElAr 94 or so out of frustration. This is the sort of thingthatwill bring players back I hope.

Just increasing the Adventure and Crafter levels of the Dragon NPC's. So they have the "amount of skill" in what they are training. It's basicly falls under Lore and Eye Candy, nothing new for players.

Touching on the subject of multiples of a single tech on an item... Is Primal Vengance (pretty sure this was the tech) meant to be able to be teched onto an item an unlimited amount of times? I've seen scales with Primal Vengance teched onto them 3 times.. That just doesn't seem right to me.

    Good Lady Istaria above... ::faints::

Monk/Disc changes... Enchanter Purified orb price fixed... elar fixes... All we need is a worthwhile ARoP and it may be the end of Istaria as I knew it.... [:O]

BTW, As mentioned above, Spirit Body -> should read Spirit Punch.

My only concern is that the boost of 1000 Evasion MIGHT be worse than the few thousand armour we get now. There are a LOT of attacks that bump to hit or that are automatic hit (hence the original problem with forsight changes), Unfortunately these special attacks are also the ones that hurt the most. ::fingers crossed::

    RE Auto hit attacks :
Crit strikes / Heart seekers / and Spirit Punch I know are auto hits.
The mobs seem to have a number more that seem to break through my foresight, grouped Forest Mist, and parry with alarming regularity. (Though I suspect it may also be an odd timing issue, where the feedback for Foresight has appeared on myscreen, but the calculation for the special attack may have already been calculated but has not 'appeared' on my queue yet.)

At most I have 1500 armour in sprd (essence leather+armourV,mith health+armour V, enhance armour V, gift of armour V) +1000 is 2500 still take fair amount of damage with that much armour (can and have temp buffed that high in cleric) so I guess it will be a bit of an "oh crap" button but we will see.

First of all, there's no mention on the fact that cleanse would be meant to be applied (and Manga iirc told this in IRc) on heals, i.e. castable every X seconds. Instead, we (I have been asked many times) have it applied 3 times on 5 seconds only recycling spells, so the stackability you lose is pretty much "conserved" by being able to cast it almost continuously.

Again, Manga (about 2 or 3 weeks ago, while discussing exactly about it and cleanse and other "odd" techs) stated that there's a definate difference being able to triple tech a 65% probability spell tech (cleanse) over a 5 seconds recycling spell that most can cast VS teching a 5% probability tech over a restricted to one class scale.

And in any case, the number of "survivors" able to craft such stuff is so low that is not even fun (read: the only dragons techs ever made are almost on the verge of being lost in my shard).

Last but not least, it's some weeks that I have disturbingly similar multiple reports of primal vengeange triple teched scales proccing 5% and not about 14% (not 15%) any more, but I had not the time to test the reports I got since I have less and less time to play. If anyone could check andreply or PMI'd be glad.

spirit form was +2000 armour not +1000.

So a useless ability was beefed up (much appreciated)

I don't recall the exact math involved but some times some dudes posted the formulas and they gave like 14.26% or the like.
