we should get it as normal of thursday. my only concern is the fact it took 12hrs nearly to apply to the US servers, but I hear part of that was due to a problem that developed whilst they were adding it. But expect the same length of time downtime for Unity as well and you won't be disappointed when it takes that long.

new loot means nothing for dragons, set pieces won't be for us, there maybe 1 or 2 uber rare dragon claws (will believe it when I see them linked). Will rather be wanted to do 1st stage of ARoP to get special scale and also having a go at the new werewolf mobs which have finally been added to werewolf isle.

hehe I plan to terrorise gnome players, eat all the NPC's in NR and show off being huge to newbies.
PS use set setscale command to shrink down in size to fit inside kion consigner and then use /sit command and then go AFK for several hours MWAHAHAHAHA[:D]

have you looked around lately?
not much gnomes left...
i would treat them nice so they can go forth and multiply (gnome's dont breed very well under stress...)
and you can play with them again when the gnome population is at a healthy, stable level (stable as in: for every eaten gnome there is a new gnome born at the same time)
and gnomes want time for eating and hunting and twinkering too [;)]

Due to technical reasons that won't grant us 100% the needed time to apply the latest patches to Unity we will have to postpone it by a few days.

Our shard appears to take usually more time than any NA shard to complete upgrades (probably due toa bigger database) so we believe this could take roughly no less than 15-16 hours of total downtime.

The current plan, which will be confirmed later during the weekend, is to have a special double-downtime week next week in order to let us apply the latest updates and perform our usual maintenance tasks.

If everything will go as planned we will probably start working on the patch on the night between monday and tuesday with the servers going down shortly after midnight to have Unity back online in the afternoon.

I'll post more news as soon as I have them.

Wish I knew! If I could see how Luca signs his name then I can go through the word filter to fix it. Unfortunately every time Luca signs his name, it censors it, so I can't see how he signs it [:S]
