No more road speed bonus?

Hello all. Daren Strange here with another noob question! ; )

I noticed today that I no longer receive a road speed bonus when on the roads. Did they change this with the recent server maintenance? I've died a couple times tonight (for the first time) - does that have something to do with it? My inventory is not overloaded so I don;t understand what's happening here. It is really frustrating! Any suggestions would be welcome!

do you not get road bonus while being chased by a mob or while just running on the road?
You indeed dont get roadbonus if you are chased, else its a bug and i would submit a ticket and state in there at which roads you didnt get the bonus

Thanks for reply. I am not being chased by mobs. It's on all roads in New Koraelia. I wasn't on long enough to venture from the island last night, but will see if it exists elsewhere tonight.

I looked in the technical forum. Turns out the roads are broken in some areas after the last update. It sucks, but at least now I know I'm not seeing things. ; )
