Default Har! We be pirates, lubber.

    In World of Warcraft news:

[Deleted the link: TinyPic Hosting is a BAD BAD place when they delete the image.]

A friend of mine had me look at this URL. I just about died laughing! Har!

Oh, but none of my characters will EVER spit AT anyone, but then they be not pirates, har!

Well, then, that was a short-lived link.

I'll post the transcript minus screenshot images if people are interested. The gist: How NOT to endear yourself to your friendly neighborhood admin -- and do it in character as pirates. I do not advise anyone to have such behavior, of course; it was humorous from the point of view of how unfailingly some people stay in character.

    Teaser:
    [Maj] says: Har
    [Arnie] says: Magic
    [Saleen] says: Har Lubber!
[Arnie] says: We done got moved
    [Maj] says: Avast ye swab
    [Loxos] says: u lubber ,
<GM>[Tellari] says: Ladies and Gentlemen, what you are doing goes against the policies we have set forth.
    [Arnie] says: What that be?
    [Maj] says: Har
[Galexious] says: Can ye explain yerself?
[Koltas] says: What policy ye be speakin of lass
<GM>[Tellari] says: Attack players from positions to which the guards cannot path is against our policy.
    [Saleen] says: be clear lass
[Arnie] says: They can get up easily....Thar be a ramp

(and it goes on with the lot talking Har!speak with the GM).

WARNING: Do not attempt to perform this at home or in any MMORPG.

Har! Ye be findin' the rest o' the dialogue, matey?

I be wantin' to heave to and leave behind these lubbers! Har!

I be no wench servin' ale to the likes o' ye scurvy lot today!

(Oh, I do so love Har!speak! I just need to improve in it! Imagine playing a land-locked ex-pirate in Istaria. He/she needs to be of an ancient race -- I can't recall if there were ever sea lanes and ships in this setting, though!)

*rofl* at least they stayed the RP aspect....

as for pirates and Istaria..well we had a dragon hatchling who played a pirate dragon whose former life was..well..just that. And as a gifted he was always looking for his ship...

So..you can RP anything you want! :)
