Cleaning my computer :) Images

While cleaning my room I thought "Hmm, maybe I should clean the computers aswell".
So I opened up the oldest of the two computers andwhat I saw both amazed and amused me.

Hold your breath

Maybe I should clean it more often?

lol i have never seen so much dust. my parent's computer was never opened or cleaned for like 4 years straight... and was less than half as dusty as that.

That's bad, but I have seen worse.

There's a computer hardware enthusiast website, http://www.hardocp.comthat has a forum (http://www.hardforum.com) where someone posted pictures of the insides of a computer that had been used inside a saw mill for like two years.

The short of it: After some years, the computer failed. When the computer was opened, it was discovered to be almost entirely stuffed with sawdust and other airborne contamination. The PSU had a distinctly "fuzzy" appearance, and there were charmarks all around it from when it finally fried.
