Thread: How fast can you go?

Default How fast can you go?

Long ago we had the fastest speeds thread, so with all the changes to our world, lets see how fast we can go now. I have to say its expensive, but you can move pretty ******** good in istaria now, for 20s or so.
My max speed is 215, I have thought of a way to beat it, but it'd be tough.

I like to climb the various tall towers and jump off now and then, but the display doesn't show how fast terminal velocity is.

Funny you bring this up, I was curious just yesterday and managed to get this:

I think this is pretty well as high as it gets, but I may be missing another ability or 2. If you've thought of a way to beat yours, I suspect you can top this one as well.

    Interesting thread!

    Post the buffs used!

I haven't calc'd mine, but I'd use the following that I have available:

    Road Bonus
    Natures Path
    Sprint
    Quickstep V
    Fleet of Foot
    Speed tech on boots.

Missing saris sprint.. what else would be used?

Not just speed tech, but Gangaf Tagley's boots ... I bet that would help, if the runner were a Tinker. Also Gift of Speed. And does Spun Sugar stack in?

Sprint and Saris Sprint cancel eachother 12 so you can only have one or the other.

    I had the following

    Base Speed +50
    Fleet of foot +10
    Natures path +25
    Road Bonus +25
    Quints V +12
    Gift of Speed V +10
    Istara's Gait V - 115% Base speed (+8)
    Sprint +40
    Teched TV boots +10
    Gangaf's Experimental boots +25

I was thinking, it is possible to gain Istara's Gait VI, and possible IV would stack with it, hard to say without trying

Swift Feet conflicts with Nature's Path unfortunately. Add in Boar's Rage and you'll get another +6 there AAO.

I had a boar's mask, but didn't keep it since archers have no use for it, didn't even remember about the speed boost.

You've got it, gusi, the 6 speed point bonus I had was due to me using Boar's Rage. This is often forgotten due to its other bonuses being so helpful.

reckon I'm just pokey by being in the 160s and not trying to be in the race, yet.
