not on the Spirit server. this was done way after the whole ********** thing. this guild, Shadow of Losseheilin (crap name i know), completed the bridge legitimately. they went and bought all the plots on Lerena and built on them. that was the first bridge popping experience.

the incident you spoke of was on Dawn, i think.

Ah, then I stand corrected Phillip. The incident I spoke of was indeed on Dawn. I've no knowledge of what happened on Spirit.

And if by the Darkstaff reference you allude to the allegations of some employee of AE who created a character by that name and aided guildmates with "other worldly" assistance and goodies, that didn't happen on Dawn. If I remember rightly, that was on one of the shards merged into Chaos.

Could also have been one of the non-RP shards, but I recall some of it reported on Expanse, too.

The incident on Spirit wasn't done using an exploit, it was just done very quietly, one whole guild quickly and quietly finishing the bridge and having everyone online so they could rush across and buy up all the plots. There was some yelling about it afterwards, but nowhere near what was caused by the Dawn incident.

I played WoW for a while, and my wife still plays it.

If you start WoW and judge it by the general chat you are doing yourself a disservice. I used a /leave 1 command (I think thats it) and the quiet was nice. Then the wife and I met plenty of really good folks and had a blast.

That being said... I have exited Hz (Order) market place more than once because the conversations went south.

Anywho... I craft in Hz and adv in WoW. Perception is reality... but you can control how you perceive the world around you (both good and bad fact).

If you try WoW looking for a reason to leave... you will find it. If you try Hz looking for a reason to leave... you will find it.
