Actually, a little annoying because it refreshes the page and is above the post, so you'll always have to scroll down to read the message you clicked on... Would be better if the thread box was below the post instead of above.

So what good is a threaded view when you can only reply to last post? Everyone who uses linear mode instead will break threading as their post will be, I assume, considered as reply to last post.

In Linear mode, if the user uses "quote" or "quick reply" they will still contribute to a structured thread. If they use "quick reply" at the top of the page they will start a new base-thread, and if they use "new reply" at the bottom of the page it will contribute to the thread the last post is in.

Same goes for hybrid mode.

Threaded mode obviously only allows for directed conversation paths.

edit: I see that broken tags are left completely unprocessed - very clever. The regex pattern match code must have some conditionals inside, in addition to replace commands. Let's see how mangled tag order is handled:

I wish they could have imported the previous forum's posts, even if they couldn't import the users.

Someone tell me how this forum is better than the last. Quote post and Edit post will hopefully always work correctly. Those were the main issues I had with the previous forums.
