Thread: Make formulas and techs weigh 0 bulk

Default Make formulas and techs weigh 0 bulk

Imperial bounty markers, lore tokens weigh 0.

Formulas really are nothing more than knowledge written on parchment or paper. They take up stacks, but do they really need to take up bulk?

This would make a library structuremore easy to do ithink. It then could have 0 Bulk and only a large number of Items, or at least only Bulk = Items (if 0 Bulk is not possible to make).

Makes sense to me as well. Bring on the libraries! Bring on the level 99 bookworms!

Did you know that a 0 bulk item donnt use a stack? Open a full silo and try put in some tokens and marker.
And more imporant than forms/tech i think is 0 bulk on emblems and other attuned stuff. Attuning items get more and more and you have only very few options to store this.

I agreewith you i would like to bringup one item for consideration, I have far more issues with stacks(ie number of items ) then i do with weight. I would like to see an adjustment to both

That is what i wanted to point out. if you give an item bulk 0 you can put them to all storages in all quantitys. Try to place your tokens into a siloo full of what ever. Or put makers into an empty silo and then try to put in something with other too. A silo with makers says 1/1 stacks. But they donnt realy count. you can use the silo as it would be 0/1

They still take up stacks from what I have seen. Try putting IBMs in a silo, then try adding soemthing else to the silo. I don't think you will be able to.

OK, I have to admit, as bugs go this one is pretty nifty.

This is obviously a bug, so just report it.. then making forms weigth 0 bulkwould be a solution for a Library.

What is the bug? That 0 bull items are no stack? Or that 0 bulk Items count up the itemcounter.
I always saw it as feature to make markers and tokens to something like coins. You have them. But they donnt have any bulk or stack (like your money). Same for some Quest items. With 0 bulk there is never a problem to carry them (not in bulk and not in satcks).

Hmm well that is news to me that IBM's and token take up 0 stacks. Or it could be a bug.

Formulas can take up stacks if they must, but theres no need for them to weigh anything.

If they changed formulas and techs to be 0 bulk and 0 stacks as well, I don't think it would hurt anyone's feelings.

imb's and lore tokens are knowledge... tradable, but thats pure game aspect.
a formula is more like a note with written how to make something...
to it weights some.. i think it makes sence
