    Default Map Indicator "Direction"

So i see a new player indicator, a flying dragon.. how sweet

well, it only shows me that icon on the map "istaria" but not in towns.

i would prefer to put that new indicator to a new theme called "dragon_default", "dragon_emerald" a.s.o. because it doesn't fit to a bipeds map.

    just an idea

    thanks

While this is a gigantic improvement over the old white dot, but would love to see a more racial indicator in the future.

It would also be nice if it actually pointed in the right direction. As it is, it's kind of odd seeing it point in a direction that isn't my line of travel.

    all of the above objections:
personally, i dig the pointer itself, but it needs to be a lighter color and it needs to point in the same direction your alt is pointing.
the dark dragon is almost impossible to see if you are traveling in dark lands and it is quite confusing to be expecting the dragon's head is pointed in the same direction as your own. it was only because i know the quarry area so well that i didn't get lost last night looking for sandstone nodes when testing the new pointer....

until these things are fixed, can we have the white dot back?

I miss my white dot *sobs*.

I know someone's posted how to get it back but it means messing with files and I'm just not confident doing anything like that. Would be really nice to have a choice in Options for selecting your marker.

That is my only complete about the Pointer. It doesn't rotate itself with you! I keep expecting to see it turn when I turn, but instead it just goes side ways. XD

Thankfully I read my compass more then I do a map.
