nice drawing their darkwing
Thankies!
Yes, this is a nice drawing, Darkwing Duck
Today I made a model of Nambroth in Blender!
You can see a full side-view of the model here - http://scaleeth.deviantart.com/art/B...-001-200270047
I'm aspiring to be in game design some day. My dream is to make dragon (or any other kind of creature) models for games! So I have been dedicating most of my free time to learning how to use Blender. I'm still learning how to rig correctly, and soon I'll move onto animation. I've learned a bit about UV mapping as well, but I still have a long way to go on that.

Pretty darn nice. If that is an example of what can do just starting out then I think you could be quite successful in game design. Keep up the good work and I certainly look forward to the next one you make.

I would love to if they would allow me.indeed. maybe she can even give some art to Virtrium.
I've been practicing with low-poly models. While big models with thousands upon thousands of vertices look nice, they're not really sensible for video games. This dragon head has 104 vertices. Its eye is 9 vertices. Also practicing with textures.

Sorry for the double post! Its too late to add onto my last one.
Been fiddling around with that dragon model all day. Shaped it all different ways. The last one is my favorite, its a hatchling. C:

Looks great for such low poly. FYI, the average high level of detail head of a dragon in the game is about 1000 faces. Med is 700 and low is 400. So if you wanted to match that, you have a lot of room to play with.
Oh, awesome! Thank you for that bit of information, Solitaire! I really appreciate any tips I can get about this kind of stuff. I'm soaking up all this knowledge like a sponge, ya know. XD

Great drawing there I look forward for your next ones
It's Ricar.
He's grumpy because no matter how strong he becomes he will always be referred to as "Shian's Apprentice" despite being older than her. Tends to happen when one sleeps so long that they are older than the oldest dragon in the clan yet gets treated as the lowest hatchie because well, he was a low hatchie when he woke up years later.
ahhahah I know that feeling .
Love the shot - yea I get flummoxed about positioning trying to draw groups of characters (be they dragons or just anything). I always want to get "Fully body" in and I have to make myself cut back in order to fit everything and still have a good size for details . lol
