What I meant with "Original color" was for example, my dragon is dark grayish. So the gradient would be partialy transparent or something like that to be still dark grayish, and the only coloured gradient part would be the color you wanna add, for example, yellow.
I don't know if you get me.
Also because of the libs and stuff you sayd I told only to tint the paws so it doesn't reach over shoulders to the back or rest of the body, so less work.
Tho I don't know how the textures are actually, but you might get the idea of what I have in mind. Let me see if I can work a "sketchy" thing.

Totally possible, both as a custom texture OR as a custimisation option, I know because Rackie showed me a quick test when I was throwing ideas around in a public chat (boy did I learn mistakes from doing that haha).

As I mentioned, I'm totally willing to pick that idea up again, though I'd think it'd be best to continue in PMs as to not derail the thread :P
