100 Warrior / 100 Cleric / 100 Shaman / 100 Guardian / 100 Monk / 100 Spiritist
60 Druid / 40 Chaos Warrior / 36 Mage
While it might not be as good as the sslick and dwarf abilities i do find it very useful in taking out large groups so i am happy with it myself.
Hmm we have the only racial ability that has a chance to do absolutely nothing.
Plain and simple it does miss and quite often.
Its a good debuff and great for fighting groups but I wish it would have an automatic hit.
As an extra damage/debuff source, yes its ok.
Compared to dwarves and sslik abilities, it stinks.
Overall, i dont have a big issue with this as I do just fine as it is.
But if i had to choose a new chr today, i would go for either sslik or dwarf simply because of their racial ability.
Even dryad has a far superior ability then Half Giants, 200% increase in evades....
I would not mind a boost in Half Giant racial ability but the game has others issues to adress first, perhaps in the future though.... :)

Basically agree with everyone here so far... it's decent and effectiveagainst groups, but I wouldn't catagorize it in the top3 racial abilities either.
I must admit though, combined with a multicasted energy bomb andUnleash Chaos it does wreck some havoc on groups of enemies. ;-)

Well i use it often, especially against larger groups, but ...
i really think Dev's could improve it a lot - just give us the "Earthquake"-Attack some golems have! As an Racial-Ability, give it an Autohit and i think we Giants can be quite content.
Or: Change the "Gianzs Daze" into a sort of "Giant's Cry" - like the one some ogres use, stunning all around the giant.
Erm, and did i say already that this change would sure not be too complicated to program?
i think they most something like : lvl 1-19 giant daze 1
20-39 giant daze 2
etc
and like more hp only that 10 hp more save us at low lvl ones

Yeah it's not the best racial ability out there though it can be a blessing in some fights. It would be nice if it was 100% guaranteed to hit. I am content with it so no complaints from me.
I think this ability needs a boost too like always hit modifier and also more damage. Still it would lose to dryads, sslisks, dwarfs and gnomes tons.
aint we made to deal much melee dmg or am i wrong?
