Bronze, Iron, Steel, Cobalt and Mithril... 5 colours already ingame, just needs to be added to the appropriate froms [;)]
What's the point you ask? Well maybe someone wants a Cobalt colored iron armor? Or a Bronze colored Mithril armor?

Hehe, not a bad idea. And give them a nice metallic sheen while you are at it.
This could be fun! I would also love to see wood grain dyes, too!
Dyes are something very easy to modify on your own. If you look in the directory
Horizons\Resources\textures\tints
you will find every color for every dyable object in photoshop-compatible .act format. Even without Photoshop, you can rename and replace tints with other tings to make your armor look like whatever you want. Other players won't be able to see the changes you make, but there's plenty of artistic opportunity there.

"No."
True, but no one else will se the change.

Personally I'd rather see new dye colors added instead of just making things confusing by making mithril plate look like bronze. That, and if Tulga lets us mismatch metal colors, they should do the same for cloth and leather. The tinting process itself is very easy to apply, but the time needed to make the forms and techs, and find a suitable skill level in the alchemist school to put the forms, and most important of all, find a way to intoduce the forms into the game via a quest is a bit much. There's already a nice gradient of various dye colors for the alchemist school, imo.
