    Re: Horizons Chat Log Reader

Sorry about the problems getting the program running. From Yuusuke's e-mail it looks like the issue might just be a missing Comdlg32.ocx file. That really should be included with the VB runtime...

    Re: Horizons Chat Log Reader

Another small update: now version 1.2.3. This is just a fix to the problem where the first line of chats was being cut off. This was due to a small problem in the code for paging.

Well there are actually a few mobs that have abilities that cause poison like effects. At least the spiders do have the ability to poison, just it lowers stats rather than doing damage (sure hurts...

    Re: Horizons Chat Log Reader

Talking with an NPC is stored in the chat logs the same way Tells from another player are, so they'll show up in the chat log reader under the name of the NPC.

I've actually used this a few...

    Re: Horizons Chat Log Reader

Quick update: up to version 1.2.2. The changes that went with 1.2 caused a small problem where the first letter of the chat room names was being cut off. It is now fixed.

    Re: Horizons Chat Log Reader

Another revision. This time it is version 1.2.0. Here are the main changes/improvements:
Chat rooms without names now are handled properly. Extremely long chats can now be paged through rather...

Re: For those of us in the Arctic Climes...

I agree that it would be nice to have more snow covered features for plots. In addition to the snow covered pine trees I wouldn't mind seeing snow covered hedges. Icicles and other snow effects would...
  9. Re: Essence Circle in Glowing Wisp area outside Mahagr***

Actually I thought it was expected for there not to be machines in the immediate distance of all of the higher tier resources. As much as this applies to the wisps near Mahagra, it also applies to...

    Re: Snowballs = EVIL

Snowballs are some of my favorite loot, and of the junk loot for ice creatures I think it's some of the most appropriate. I'm still working on filling a silo with them. If giving them value would...

Yeah, I got a brown silk backpack pouch last night. Quite useful actually. It's now holding my tech components in my vault.

    Re: While I'm Waiting

Order is a role-playing server, while Chaos is not.

The intent was for Order as a role-playing server to provide an environment where everyone would be role-playing their characters almost all...

    Re: Today's Patch--GOOD LORD!

It's not really lazy so much adjusting the requirements to be more in line with other construction. The new buildings all require fewer quantities (but usually some higher tiers) of materials than...

    Re: Today's Patch--GOOD LORD!

Woot! reduced resource requirements for trees and walkways :-) Now does that apply to ones that have already been placed, but are currently incomplete?

Now if only they would do the same for...

    Re: New Log Analyzer Project

I'll try to drop by the Yahoo Group and add my input regarding the programming aspect (although I personally dislike .NET). I'm fairly familiar with the log files from working on my chat log reader...
  17. Re: What Keeps you here if you don't like the new istaria?

Given that the main thing I missed of the old Istaria was the scenery in some places, I'd say what keeps me here is my friends and the fact that while I lost the nice scenic jungles, I gained more in...

Sadly it wouldn't really be optional. Because once it exists then everyone will want it. Same way it is with techniques. If you don't have it then you're underpowered compared to the norm.
