I think for the purpose of this thread it's helpful if we ignore the fact that dragons have two item slots that can take Speed tech, while bipeds only have one.

The biggest advantage of a properly done auction would be that it takes a lot of money out of the economy. The richest will get the best plots, but that's still better than "the one with the most RL...
