Why does any attempt to show interest in another product generate such wanton hatred and venom from the bulk of the common posters here?

I think its nice that WoW is adding content like more flying mounts, and slowly giving them more levels to attain.

I also like the improvements slowly being done to Hz as well... Too bad my die is cast and account closed. Actually too bad this game ran out of money and people when it needed it the most.

Mainly because it's advertising the competition. For example.... There is a Meijer and Wal*Mart across the street in my town. Meijer doesn't have big banners that say

"Wal*Mart has cheaper beer!"

Wether or not it's true isn't the point.... It just doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Most of us want horizons to survive, advertising the compititon wont encourage that too well.

Also, I don't like the cartoonish artwork of WoW.

Now thats funny...... talk about being suckered and being stupid. It's just too bad that Horizons never lived up to the hype, never fulfilled the endless list of broken promises, and never became the game it should have been. It's a shame you must resort to name calling and make no point at all in your statement when trying to put down a game that is actually thriving. Well you have gotten what you deserve, horizons. I am sure you are quite content with it and want to wait around to "give them time to fix things.", but it's true what they say I guess ignorance is bliss. Just keep that monthly subscription coming sucker.

Why? Because that was a blatant advertisment for another game. And not even in off topic when it started. That kind of behavior is, was, and always will be FROWNED ON.
