tech formula bug or just odd ?

I noticed yesterday that flame range technique had double the compenents listed, i tryed flame range and it was the same, looked sort of like this ..

spell shard 1

regent1

dim ess orb 4

mal. golem chip 1

dim ess orb4

mal golem chip 1

do these range techniqes ( flame and ice ) really require 8 orbs and 2 regents ?
tier one btw.

I've also noticed players selling items with multiple techniques, do I need to be a certain level to apply more than 1 ?

I appreciate any help or advice you guys have for me, I started last week.

I've seen the double tech component bug only once, and I thought it was just a glitch in the system, but maybe not... although I did try to replicate the bug and failed.

The number of techs is tied to item tier. You can add one tech to tier I and II items, two techs to tier III and IV items, and three to tier V (and eventually tier VI) items. Dyes, for items that accept them, are free techs that don't consume tech slots.

I am trying to apply one hand crush to some gauntlets and got this exact same thing.

gauntlets 1
dim essense orb 4
sand ogre jawbone 1
dim essense orb 4
sand ogre jawbone 1

Is there a way to fix this?

OK because I really wanted these gloves I went ahead and bought the extra set of parts and combined. It does not actually use the extra set so I am guessing it is some sort of bug. Anyone know how to submit bug reports? I am a newb~

Ok as I was trying to figure out the bug report system I went back with my left over parts and made that same gauntlets and it did not ask for two sets of components.. hmm weird.
