    Well I installed Horizons last night, but was slightly worried when I logged in and only saw 3 people in the market channel, none of which responded. This was at 3am euro time though, so i'm hoping its a little busier at normal times :)

    Kinda lost as to what i'm supposed to do, havent played this game since the first month of release, but no doubt i'll pick it up, any tips appreciated :)

    hmm, appears I cant log in at all now. Problems with server? or just my password?
    I changed my email on the account last night as the one I first joined with is no longer active, now I cant login on either address, and going to the support page doesnt help either. any ideas?

    this is really annoying, anyone have a working email or website for support please? one that doesnt require you to login first, or answer secret questions.

    Hi and welcome.

    Oh dear, someone else had that problem with changing their email adress. I have no idea how they fixed it.

    Send Luca (the manager of the EU server) a pm with the problem, here is a thread that he started, http://forum.gnonline.net/showthread.php?t=25459. Click his name to send a PM.

    If you cant reach Luca through the GN forum try sending a PM on this forum to Amon or Manga.
    Ask them to contact Luca to fix the problem.
    In both cases supply them with your old and your new email adress.

    Those 3 on Market where probably just asleep ;)
    Normally market is pretty active.

    Maybe you could not log because of the maintainance period?

    One can always log in even during maintenance period, your characters just aren't listed so you can't enter the game. Changing one's email adress has caused the abovementioned problem before.

    well i managed to log in finally, but i have to go a weird route to do it.
    instead of logging in at the page that normally comes up, i have to log in at https://horizons.eu.istaria.com/default.aspx?c=USinstead. weird.

    That's odd... I mean, that link is the default page. If you just enter https://horizons.eu.istaria.com/ you'll be directed there. I can only assume the trial installer has some other link set to the HZ icon. Which is yet another reason why it should be updated to a newer version that contains the last two years' patches.

    Now I remember... I had the very same problem on the day I started. The installation off the game CD put that US login address there. Fortunately I had heard about this beforehand and was able to fix it straight away. I wonder how many people have been directed to wrong site and then given up as they apparently can't log in.[:S]
