Trial account-crashes creating character

I downloaded the free trial today and then spent an hour creating my dryad and after accepting the name it said "creating character" then it just stuck on that page and never went anywhere. I had to reset my computer. I tried again, just using the one that was already created and it locked up again after I pressed play. Any ideas?

I had the same thing happen to me, except after restarting my pc it worked fine.
