Northern Deadlands? Can someone clue me in how to get there?

Hi all,

Could someone give me some guidance in finding the northern deadlands? I might have missed something. I thought porting from the top of the sorcerers tower north of mahagra would get you there, but all I've found is tier 3 resources.

In particular, I need to find the scorching skeletons, and the skeletons that drop the flame and ice bone splinters.

Any help would be appreciated.

You are on the rigth path there. The blight bloom known as Northern Deadlands is on the very western end of the continent, on the part south of the massive canyon. The undead spawns are sprinkled throughout.

You won't be finding any scorching skeletons or such; those seem to be no longer in game. Instead, the bone splinters will be dropping off greater skeletons. I know as I hunted there a bit this very day and came out with 3 energy and 2 ice splinters (in addition to zombie thighbones and some journeyman forms).

Thanks for the information, I found it easily with your directions. I probably should bring this issue up with the devs, as the level 70 primal ability quest still asks to kill 30 scorching skeletons... and havent found them anywhere, I covered the western deadlands and found none.

Now if I could only find the purple tarantulas......

Aren't purple Tarantulas in the Spirit Swamp, where the fyakki used to be?

They are purple spiders, not tarantulas.
